Juno Is Unable To Process Incoming Data

How To Process Incoming Data From Juno?

If you obtain a message after you receive or send mail that states "Unable to process incoming data," you possibly downloaded a damaged access number list the last time your checked or sent mail. You can simply fix this issue by finding the damaged file on your computer, removing it, and updating your access number list.

To locate the damaged access number file on your computer:

  1. Shut Juno.
  2. Find your USERxxxx folder

  • On the taskbar, press the start button, point to Programs, point to Juno, and tap Juno System Information.
  • A text file appears that contains information about your computer's resources and files that Juno needs to function. Scroll to the section labeled [Juno Users]. This section includes the name and location of the USERxxxx folders for each Juno account on your computer and will look like this:

[Juno Users]

  • username1=C:\Program Files\Juno\USER0000
  • username2=C:\Program Files\Juno\USER0001
  • username 3=C:\Program Files\Juno\USER0002

In this section, find the line of text that includes the user name for the account whose Address Book you want to back up. For example, the line could look like this: your username=C: \Program Files\Juno\USER0002. In this example, your USERxxxx folder name is USER0002 and it is situated in the Juno subfolder of the Program Files folder on your computer.

Write the position of your USERxxxx folder (which is the text after the equal sign) on a piece of paper. So, for the above example, you would compose C:\Program Files\Juno\USER0002.

3. Use My Computer or Windows Explorer to find your USERxxxx folder on your computer. If you require to, refer to the location you earlier wrote down.
4. Now, open your USERxxxx folder. Inside your USERxxxx folder is a folder called get.
5. Then Open the get folder. In the get folder, there must be a file that ends with the extension, .ddx. If you find this file, delete it. Please note, you may require to change the folder view to see all files and their extensions. To do this, tap View on the Options menu, tap the View tab, and below Hidden files, click Show all files.

Now, update your access number list to download a new and undamaged access number list and then choose new access numbers.

To update and change access numbers in Juno 2.0 or later:

1. On the Connection menu, tap Access Number Setup and Selection.
2. Tap Next on each of the dialing setup screens until you get to the Update Numbers screen.
3. In the Update Numbers screen, tap Get New Access Number List. Juno dials a toll-free number to connect to its middle computers and then downloads an up-to-date list of access numbers.
4.  After Juno has downloaded the latest access number list, tap Next to choose your new access numbers.
